"Cosina's CX-5 is a Japanese 35mm viewfinder camera, released in 1982 as a progression from the now semi-classic CX-1 and CX-2. Like its forerunners, it has zone focusing and a rotating cover for the lens and viewfinder, although much smaller on the CX-5. Focusing is reduced to three zones (head and shoulders, "pan-focus". mountain), which is made up for by the slower aperture and short focal length of the lens. The camera has a built-in flash, which makes it larger than its predecessors. Sold in black or silver. Cosina also manufactured and rebranded the CX5 as the PX-5 for Petri."
