"The 5000i belonged to the second camera body generation of Minolta's 35mm autofocus SLR system. It is also known as the Maxxum 5000i and as the Alpha 5700i. The "i" stood for "intelligence" of automatic exposure control and autofocus, etc. . It is quite compact and has a fast shutter (4 sec. to 1/2000 sec., but only up to 1/90 sec. flash sync. speed). It has a big LCD display for better control of functions. Its built-in zoom-flash is not collapsible. It has a big CCD inside for two-zone TTL-metering (EV 0 to 18 at film speed ISO 100). The…"
