"The Reporter is a strut-folding bellows camera for plates or film-packs, offered in at least 6.5x9cm, 9x12cm and 10x15cm sizes by the French maker Gaumont from about 1924. The body of the camera is metal (painted brass in the example cited at Collection Appareils; nickel-plated in the others), and is quite shallow front-to-back, though not as shallow as Gaumont's Block-Notes, because it houses a shutter. It has a Le Klopcic focal-plane shutter, adjustable both by slit-width and spring tension, giving two speed ranges; slow, from 1 second to 1/40, and fast, from 1/60 to 1/2000.
