"The Voigtländer Vito II is a folding camera for 35mm film. It was introduced in 1949 as successor of Voigtländer's prewar model Vito, and was followed by the Vito IIa by 1955. Unlike the earlier model, it could only take modern type No. 135 film, and not unperforated 35mm film. The film transport was optimized for the modern film cassettes (perforated 35mm film with distance of 4.75mm between sprockets). The camera got a new version of the 4 element in 3 groups 1:3.5/50mm Skopar, which was re-calculated for color photography and called Voigtländer's Color-Skopar . The lens was improved as…"
